We are having great luck with our summer outdoor toys. We moved the toys to a spot out on the floor and opened some of the items. Kids and adults alike are having a great time trying out many of these products before they purchase them. Our customers are enjoying the opportunity to touch and see many of these products outside of their packaging.








Our Wine and Spirits department has taken advantage of some great deals from vendors and passed them along to our customers though our price decline program. Dundee Honey Brew Wheat beer is in the South Sioux City Hy-Vee Flyer at $5.99 Sierra Nevada is on sale for $6.99. These delicious and savory craft beers are a great opportunity for our customers to try some of the many craft and import beers that we have in our new Wine and Spirits store.





Great Tent Event


For the second time this year we have held a very successful tent sale. The pictures speak for themselves. We had unprecedented sales increases and saw a lot of new customers in the store. We took great care of them and set the table for the coming months.

Happy 100th to Pearson's Candy

Celebrating 100 years is easy to do with sweet treats from Pearson Candy.
We have assembled an attractive display encompassing all the great treats that Pearson's has to offer. From the best peppermint candy's to Carmel buns these savory and salty snacks are sure to please.

The right side of the display features Vanilla, Carmel, and Maple Buns displayed attractively in metal drink bins that are for sale in aisle two.

Greetings

The following is a brief description of some of the successfully implemented promotions that we have developed at Hy-Vee in South Sioux City. Making lives easier, happier, and healthier every day.

Fathers Day

Here we have our fathers day display. We experimented with a boutique display. We purchased supplies and collaborated with some of the ladies in the floral department to create this interesting and appealing display.

Summer Dishes

We have been enjoying great success with our Packer ware and Zak summer dishes. We moved batteries from their location in front of the express registers and incorporated them into the battery section in the aisle. We expanded on on the Packer ware product line and offered special values though our price decline program.

Mega produce sale

Our mega produce sale is in full swing this week. We have worked hard to build an appealing and impressive display to feature some of the amazing fresh fruits and vegetables offered by our produce department.

We are merchandising home grown tomatoes and other produce on either side of our mega produce display. We are utilizing our outdoor umbrellas to create a farmers market appeal for the produce surrounding the display.

We are utilizing the back of our mega produce display to feature Kingsford charcoal.

King Size Ice Cream Snickers 2/$1.00. We are merchandising single bars, and 24pk cases in this large and attractive display. A balloon arch and large banner make this unbeatable deal stand out in a crowd.
